Angie Edwards
Angie has been a fitness coach/trainer for 16 years. She is professionally certified as a personal trainer, spin instructor, Pilates trainer and aquatics instructor. From step aerobics to kickboxing and more recently coaching weight loss challenge teams, Angie has coached through many fitness trends, but never grows tired of helping women find their “inner athlete”. Whether a fitness novice or a seasoned pro Angie loves to help women push harder, longer and faster than they feel capable to go. She is thrilled to be a part of this FitCHIX team that shares those same passions.
In addition to her work in fitness Angie is also working towards finishing her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy, specializing in eating disorders and food addiction.
Personally, Angie has ran the San Francisco Nike Women’s Marathon, completed a dozen half-marathons and a handful of sprint triathlons. She is always looking for a new challenge or adventure. Her favorite adventure of all however, is coaching “Team Edwards”, 9 year old Connor, 7 year old twins Abby and Ben, and 4 year old Eleanor with her wonderful co-coach, Scott.
